Great Job Girls!

Our Wildcat Girls Soccer team brought home an incredible win 21 April, 6-5 against OCS!

Sophia Sarmiento Rosas scored the first goal of the game, which was just the beginning of the excitement. Skyler Sherwood swooped in not long after to bring us the second goal of the game.

We went into overtime at the end, resulting in a penalty kick shootout. Skyler Sherwood, Taralois Burnett, and Sophia Sarmiento Rosas scored our first three penalty kicks. In the second round of penalty kicks, Jade Reyes Torrez gave us our golden goal!

Berenice Vital was incredible as our keeper, stopping multiple goals from getting in her net! She stopped the final penalty kick from OCS that won us our game!

Join our girls Monday, April 28th, for the playoffs at the Jennifer Ross complex!

WCMS Cheerleading Tryouts
Melanie Stark

March 24-27th

Attention WCMS,  middle school girls interested in joining the cheerleading team! We are excited to announce that cheer tryouts will be held from March 24th to March 27th, from 3:00 to 5:30 PM each day. This is a fantastic opportunity for enthusiastic and dedicated students who wish to showcase their school spirit and athletic abilities.

To be eligible to participate in tryouts, students must meet specific requirements. All participants must be passing all of their classes to ensure academic excellence remains a priority. Additionally, students with any disciplinary referrals will not be eligible to try out, as we are looking for responsible and respectful individuals who will represent our school in a positive manner. Furthermore, each participant must have a current physical on file with Coach Williamson prior to tryouts. This requirement is necessary to ensure the health and safety of all students who wish to participate.

Throughout the tryout process, students will be evaluated on their skills, attitude, and teamwork abilities. We encourage all interested students to come prepared, stay positive, and give their best effort during each session. Cheerleading is not only a sport but also an opportunity to build lasting friendships, develop leadership skills, and promote school pride.

For more information or if you have any questions, please contact Coach Williams. We look forward to seeing your enthusiasm and talent at tryouts!
