Your WWWWWWWWWWWest Chatham Wildcats baseball team finished the job on Wednesday night, April 29, taking home the county championship and took home their first perfect season in school history!
Jace Bullard threw all six innings, striking out 15 batters in route to winning MVP for the league. His final stat line for the year was:
Batting: .462 AVG / .522 OBP / .782 SLG
Pitching: 4-0, 19.1 IP, 1.61 ERA, 41 K's
and 2 Saves
Joniel Marrero took home Most Valuable pitcher for the league. His final stat line for the year was:
Pitching: 6-0, 31 IP, 0.83 ERA and 60 K's w/ only 4 walks.
Honorable Mention: 6th grader Gary "the snail 🐌" Douglas led the league with 29 hits in 12 games. He will be a PROBLEM* for 2 more years for opposing pitchers.
